The person behind Stylix Recordings
Hi, I'm Metris. I sort of got into music back in 2019 with mashups here and there, but truly began my music production journey in April 2020 with a demo of FL Studio 20. After a little under a year and a half of experimentation and messing around with the software, I officially released my first single 'Lost & Found' back in September 2021. Since, I have released three EPs ('Existential Nostalgia,' 'Sleepless Horizons,' and 'Motionless Ecstasy'), and am hoping to add to that with external producing, as well as my own work. The music I produce combines EDM elements with more plenitudal sounds, the genre falling under 'Chill'. It allows a lot of freedom on my end to create sounds with a greater purpose, yet still homing in on the adrenaline-pounding elements EDM is known for. To this day, I continue to experiment with my work, and hope my efforts improve throughout my future.
What is Stylix Recordings
Stylix Recordings is a pseudo-label/brand created by myself to house each piece of music I release (first present in November 2022 with the release of 'Falling In Reverse'). As well as music, this brand also houses shot FX/atmosphere samples produced by myself via Freesound. Whilst I am the only person using Stylix Recordings to release music, I hope to have other up-and-coming artists feature too; there are so many unknown producers that deserve to have their music be heard, and I want Stylix Recordings to push that notion.
